🌬️ Colgera (Wind Temple)
The culmination of the Rito Village main quest “Tulin,” the entire battle takes place in mid-air diving.
- Core Strategy: Dive from high altitude to ram into the ice shells on its back. The higher and faster you dive, the faster the shells break;
- There are three ice shells in total. Once all are broken, it regenerates three new ones and enters Phase 2;
- In Phase 2, it summons tornadoes. Use Tulin’s Gust to dodge laterally;
- It will charge upward from below; move sideways immediately upon seeing the telegraph;
- Alternatively, you can keep your distance and shoot the ice shells with arrows.
💧 Mucktorok (Water Temple)
A classic “cleaning” battle. Its true form is small, but it rides a sludge shark.
- Sludge hinders your movement and vision. Use Sidon’s Water Ability to launch water orbs and clear it;
- Using a spear is most efficient against the shark, reliably stunning it;
- Once the shark is stunned, the Mucktorok scurries around. Hit it with an arrow to expose it;
- In Phase 2, sludge clumps fall from above. Use a Hydrant Zonai device or Bomb Flowers to clear them quickly;
- You can also fuse Keese Eyes to arrows for homing shots.
🔥 Marbled Gohma (Fire Temple)
Its entire body is encased in marble rock, rendering normal attacks completely ineffective.
- You must use Yunobo’s Rolling Charge to ram its legs. After breaking both legs, it collapses;
- Once down, climb on and attack its eye—this is the only damage window;
- It throws explosive rocks. You can knock them away with Yunobo or use Recall to send them back;
- In Phase 2, it climbs to the ceiling. You must fire Yunobo upward;
- It creates a ring of exploding rocks. Use Yunobo or Recall to create an opening and quickly dash out.
⚡ Queen Gibdo (Thunder Temple)
The hardest of the four temples, and distinct from smaller encounters outside.
- Gibdo is immune to physical attacks. You must first use thunder attributes (Shock Fruit, Shock Arrows, Riju’s Lightning) or fire attributes to turn it white and vulnerable;
- Once white, immediately attack with high-damage weapons;
- In Phase 2, it summons Gibdo larvae and hives, which block light;
- Use Riju’s Lightning to prioritize destroying the hives, allowing sunlight into the temple. The larvae are weakened by light;
- Standing in the light protects you from larva damage.
👻 Phantom Ganon
Two encounters: Hyrule Castle (5 phantoms) and Deku Tree Depths (defeat the Gloom Hands first).
- In the castle battle, multiple phantoms appear simultaneously. Their attacks are gloom-infused, and hits seal Heart Containers;
- All attack telegraphs are clear: close-range sweeps, long-range charges;
- Perfect dodges triggering Flurry Rush are the most efficient damage method;
- You can also Parry with your shield or shoot the head to interrupt charges;
- Hearts sealed by gloom recover with Sundelion dishes or after the battle ends;
- In the Deku Tree Depths, it’s recommended to clear the Gloom Hands with Bomb Flowers first, then face Phantom Ganon.
🎩 Yiga Clan Leader Kogha (Four Battles)
Kogha pilots different vehicles in four Abandoned Mines, totaling four battles:
| Battle | Location | Vehicle | Strategy |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Central Abandoned Mine | Spiked Vehicle | Climb the side wheel, circle around to attack him inside |
| 2 | Lanayru Abandoned Mine | Aircraft | Shoot him with arrows to stun, or use Tulin’s Gust to approach |
| 3 | Gerudo Abandoned Mine | Mech | Ram with Yunobo, attack when he’s grounded |
| 4 | Hebra Abandoned Mine | Giant Construct | Ram him and his machine into the electric fence at the arena edge, break his shield then attack |
::: tip During Kogha battles, he opens red/blue shields. Red shields dissipate on their own; blue shields require electricity or impact to break. :::
🦾 Stolen Construct (Spirit Temple)
- The arena has electric fences. Use a construct equipped with a Cannon to charge it, then hit it to knock it into the fences;
- Alternatively, use weapons or shields fused with Shock Emitter to stun it;
- When it charges, block with your shield and look for counterattack opportunities.
🐉 Gleeok, Flux Constructs, and Overworld Bosses
| Name | Weakness | Tips |
|---|---|---|
| Gleeok (Three-Headed Dragon) | Three heads correspond to Ice/Fire/Thunder | Use opposite elements or Bomb Flowers, shoot the eyes |
| Flux Construct (Depths Giant) | Ore on its back | Use hammer-type weapons or bombs, attack the back |
| Flux Construct | Core Cube | Use Ultrahand to remove the core cube, causing it to disassemble |
| Battle Talus | Ore on its back | Attack the ore, or use arrows |
| Lynel | Head | Flurry Rush + headshots; note it can also dodge |
| Gloom Hands | Light/Fire | Clear quickly with Bomb Flowers or fire, otherwise they summon Phantom Ganon |
👑 Demon King Ganondorf (Final Battle)
The final showdown with the Demon King at The Source of the Gloom. The battle has two main phases, and victory hinges on mastering the Flurry Rush.
Preparation: Bring full Sundelion dishes, Gloom-resistance gear, the Master Sword, and high-damage fused weapons. Ensure all five Sages are in your party.
Phase 1 (Human Form):
- Moves are similar to Phantom Ganon: close-range horizontal slashes, long-range crouching charges;
- Charges can be dodged to trigger Flurry Rush; horizontal slashes can be parried or backflipped;
- At half health, he switches weapons: spear charges, greatsword leaps into overhead slams;
- He can also Flurry Rush you, so don’t get greedy with attacks.
Phase 2 (Demon King Form):
- He grows larger, stronger, and summons Phantom Clones; Sages arrive to help clear them;
- He fires homing magic orbs that permanently reduce Heart Containers upon hit (recoverable with Sundelion dishes);
- Continue using Flurry Rush to counter, and be patient.
Phase 3 (Demon Dragon):
- Ride the Light Dragon in an aerial chase against the Demon Dragon;
- Target its glowing weak points one by one, finishing with a shot to the head.

- Various elemental fruits and Bomb Flowers for arrow fusion
- Keese Eye fused arrows for homing shots
