Breath of the Wild does not have a fusion system; materials are primarily used for cooking, elixirs, equipment upgrades, and selling. Almost every blade of grass and every ore deposit on the Hyrule continent has a use.

  1. Gem Ore Deposits — Stone Taluses and mining ore deposits; diamonds and gems sell for very high prices.
